Classes and Workshops

Class Policy:   Class fees are due at time of registration, with no exceptions. Class fees are non-refundable, except in the case that we must cancel a class.  In that case, registrants will be refunded class fees, or they may choose to register in another class. Class supply lists will be given at registration

Note:  Class registration fees are for instruction only.  Books, patterns and fabric are not included in registration fees, except where noted.

Patchwork Cottage Quilt ~ Intermediate ~ $100.00

If you’ve always wanted to make a quilt with house blocks, now is the time! This cozy cottage sampler style quilt by The Rabbit Factory will get you piecing accurately; while learning house construction and several pieced blocks. A great quilt to practice getting those points pointy! We’ll also show you how to make bias vines

and appliqué either by machine or hand. A pieced border ensures your quilt top is nice and square. All this in one great class!

Skill Builder Workshop ~ $30.00

Have a few wonky blocks at home? Wondering why things don’t seem to fit? This workshop focuses on fine tuning your workmanship. We will review proper cutting, pressing, seam allowance,

squaring blocks and tops, and accurately measured borders. This is the catch-all class for all those little things you do that make such a difference to the final outcome of your quilt. An essential class to ensure all your patchwork will go together effortlessly.

How to Make a Hanging Sleeve ~ $30.00

Now that your quilt is done, how are you going to hang it for display? We will show you a couple

of ways to make a hanging sleeve to show off your quilts.

Machine Quilting Basics ~ $30.00

A thorough class on layering and basting your quilt tops to prepare for quilting, as well as how to

properly “stitch in the ditch” and other straight line quilting ideas. You don’t need to be a free motion expert to quilt beautiful designs with straight lines.

Snake River Log Cabin ~ Advanced ~ $85.00

This curved illusion was inspired by a Drunkard’s Path.  A combination of squares and rectangles, and careful fabric selection make up this version of a Log Cabin. A stunning scalloped log border finishes off this quilt beautifully.  Definitely for the quilter that likes a challenge!
