Cindy Nixdorff & Sharon Smith opened Material Girls Quilt Company on August 10, 2007 in Airdrie, Alberta.  Both rural residents near Airdrie, they share a passion for family, country life and quilting.  They both have a sincere appreciation for the dedication and time it takes to complete these works of art. 

Located in Airdrie, Alberta, Canada, Material Girls Quilt Co., strives to offer inspiration, enthusiasm and instructional support to fellow quilters in a positive and uplifting atmosphere.

Material Girls Quilt Co. is set up in an inviting and innovative way in order to encourage patrons to come in and not only shop for their quilting needs, but also enjoy a cup of tea and chat. 

 

 

 

The shop features fabrics from many popular designers such as, Jo Morton, Judie Rothermel, Barbara Brackman and Howard Marcus and more, always with a great selection of reproduction prints from civil war to 1930's
